THREE VOLUMES OF THE PRISONER SOUNDTRACK MUSIC RE-RELEASED
Silvascreen, an independent UK distributor of film, TV and specialist music has remastered the original three-volume set of prisoner soundtrack music. The music tracks have been re-ordered to play in line with the original episode screening order and are interspersed with lines of dialogue. All three volumes are available for online purchase. The 'alternate' ARRIVAL
Just out in the UK is the long-awaited 'alternate' version of the premier episode "ARRIVAL" on DVD. This, like the "Alternate Chimes" was really a rough-cut to show to the press at the time of the series' original airing and somehow escaped being destroyed. It features some extended dialogue and a little 'new' footage, particularly in the opening sequence.

THE PRISONER CLASSIC SERIES ON DVD
All seventeen one hour episodes are available in the UK on DVD. You can purchase sets of episodes either across five seperate discs or the whole lot together as a collectors box set. All the episodes are in brand new digitally restored format and come with extras.

The seperate discs or the box set can be ordered from Amazon.co.uk, who are also stocking the VHS versions.

Amazon are the world's largest on-line video retailer, and the Prisoner set can be ordered direct from their website with free delivery straight to your door, wherever you live. Just click the graphic above to go there. In addition to the Prisoner set, you can also order episodes of "DANGER MAN", on DVD and VHS tape.

As an alternative, SENDIT.COM have a good range of DVD's and VHS tapes available on a similar basis to Amazon and their website is worth checking out for The Prisoner and other science fiction TV and cinematic material. Click their graphic to go there.

THE PRISONER SERIES ON VHS
This is the full UK episode set, spread across nine VHS tapes. There are two episodes per tape except for "Fallout", which is paired with the "Prisoner Companion" documentary. Click on any video cover to go to the Amazon website for more information or to place an order.

As an alternative,   SENDIT.COM   have the VHS tapes available on a similar basis to Amazon and their website is worth checking out. Both of these online stores have a full range of fantasy and science fiction titles.
           
        
Prisoner VHS box set As an alternative to buying the tapes individually, a nine-tape box set was produced. Arrange them in the right order and the spines cunningly display the famous arms-stretched "I'm here to resign" pose. It's a tad expensive, but is now a collectors item. The set seems to have been discontinued but either Amazon or Sendit might be able to search for either a new or used set for you.

Remember that these tapes are in PAL format for the UK and Europe. They'll play elsewhere as long as your equipment has PAL playback facility.
